Tbreak Stars Hector Bizerk Too Clever For Imaginary Rap Persona

HECTOR-BIZERK-150PXUK music festival T IN THE PARK today announced which unsigned bands would be lucky enough to play the unsigned ‘tbreak‘ stage this Summer. 16 acts have been confirmed with rap outfit HECTOR BIZERK getting the chance to bring their crew of two to the field of dreams.

Being an occasional fan of old school hip hop and living in Scotland are two things that combine about as well as deep fried heroin. I set about to highlight this fact.

Ah yes, PHAT PIRANHA had reared its ugly head again. It’s bad enough tossing out indie rock punchlines that aren’t there. People trying to be funny on Twitter is getting old now, isn’t it?

And now we see the trick to being extremely unfunny is to not only have no idea what you’re tweeting about, but to reference clever people while you’re doing it. Thereby creating the illusion that it could simply be alright.

This illusion is quickly shattered when Tbreak stars Hector Bizerk illustrate that they’re too clever for this Imaginary Rap Persona.

Despite actually having MC in my name, unlike these uzi lovers, I knew it was time to walk away. This imaginary feud would prove a welcome distraction from the regular blogpost that would otherwise have had to tell you about all of the nice bands playing at this year’s tbreak. Bands your Granny would love.

Tennent’s are thrilled to announce the bands that will be taking to the T Break Stage for T in the Park’s celebratory 20th year across the 12-14th July.

T Break’s panel of expert judges have listened to each and every demo submitted by acts from all over the country, in the search for Scotland’s freshest unsigned talent. As always the standard of entries has been outstanding and we would like to thank everyone who took part this year. Reaching a final decision is never easy, especially with the wide range of genres and the sheer volume of talent on offer this year but, a decision has been made.

Congrats to the bands picked this year – just watch out for the rap battles on the mean streets of Kinross. Gotta protect your corners.
